Whats your favourite gallery?
Not exactly galleries, the John Soane’s Museum (London) and Kettle’s Yard (Cambridge) are two fascinating homes open to the public. Both the houses and their collections reflect the varied lives and interests of their former owners, Sir John Soane and Jim Ede. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of these to gems.

Favourite art mag/design mag?
I have to say, I’m not the biggest fan of art and design magazines. Seeing so many great approaches to visual communication in one place can leave me feeling a touch inadequate. I think you can over-dose on sexy design, a drip fed approach suits me better. I think I enjoy good design most in its original context. That said I do follow magculture.com/blog

Choose someone famous to be your life-model
Odd question, as in to draw? Clint Eastwood?

What’s your most prized piece of technical kit / gizmo or gadget?
I have an automatic pencil which I like very much, that said, the mac is pretty useful.

What’s the one skill you’d most hate to loose?
You might not call it a skill, but I have an aptitude for finding just about anything interesting, which is useful as an illustrator.

Have you got a secret talent?
I’m working on making darts my secret talent at the moment.
